Face Claim: Angelina Jolie
Appearance:
The Tresses;;
Aubree’s hair – for the most part – is quite manageable and always kept/worn at a considerable length; however, it does not exceed her lower back. To her, that length is terribly long and could possibly get in the way of her daily activities. The color of the wavy locks is a rich, chocolate brown, and she eulogizes her parents for such generous genetics in this ‘department’ of her being; however, she silently curses them for her ‘mutated’ genetics, yet, that is a dish better served for later. It is normally worn down and straight and also caresses her face giving it its most precious angelic feature. On days when she’s feeling formal will she wear it in an old fashion bun that accents her features well. Never will one find Aubree not giving thought to her appearance, and if it doesn’t make her look good, it won’t do.
The Mirrors;;
Aubree’s hues are the color of the ocean although it takes on a more cerulean color and because she possesses the gift of empathy, the eye color will change to a green-blue depending on the persons’ emotion much like that of a mood ring. When gazing into the eyes of this beauty, one finds themselves reliving every emotion they’ve felt as if looking into mere glass and seeing only their emotions clouding their vision, and that’s exactly the effect the eyes have on a person. There is so much emotion and intensity built into those eyes it’s a wonder people love to gaze into them.
The Façade;;
The face of Aubree can be explained as a reminder of cherubic existence; the face taking on a somewhat rectangular curve and following down to the jaw line which is cut to proportion and clearly defined. Beyond her hair line appears her rather elongated forehead, but rather than direct attention to itself it matches perfectly with her features. Her nose is humdrum having no such extraordinary aspect to it; however, travel an inch or so down from her nose, and one will find the most dazzling feature on the girl’s body: her lips. It’s as if the exquisiteness of her lips has a figure of its own bordering on as full as it can get.
The Mannequin;;
Aubree Sinclair stands at a magnificent height of 5’8”, and her body is easily one of lithe and agile proportions. She carries on her bones the bare minimum of meat which constitutes for her bottom and her chest; however, she isn’t deathly skinny. Her body is chiseled to perfection, one might say having overtones of color depicted generally throughout. Her legs hold their own as they support her tiny frame with a hint of muscle here and there in the upper portion.
Family:
Elise Barret – Mother
Andrew Sinclair – Kid Brother
Ashley Sinclair – Baby Sister [/ul]
Personal History
Age;; What?
Once upon a time… in a far away land there lived a poor farmer boy named Roderick Cedric Sinclair… okay, perhaps he wasn’t poor, rather his family happened to be disgustingly wealthy; however, it was indeed strange for farmers during the 1950s to even be partially wealthy, but Roderick’s father came from a long line of wealth induced frauds. Thus this granted the family the currency to live as if they were merely royalty and maintain the decency to call themselves farmers.
In a valley not far off… there lived a fair maiden by the name of Elise Barret. She had no unique quality that she posessed; she did not reek of wealth; the family had no money to their name and could barely hold their own in the small house they resided in. Upon the many burdens they faced day in and out another one soon arrived. The new arrival created an even larger burden; one that was unheard of and shunned: mutated genetics. The child possessed ‘unique’ qualities that immediately got the family shunned.
Upon a chance meeting… the boy noticed the strange girl tending to the care of a physically mutated child. However turn off the boy was to this sight, he proceeded in knowing the girls’ name. There was just something about the woman that he could not shake off. Thus, it was love at first sight.
And they lived happily ever after… or so some fairytales would have you believe; however, this is no ordinary fairytale. The couple married quickly to avoid many complications with the new child that had arrived in the household. Elise moved in rapidly with Roderick leaving her estranged family behind and began contemplating on if starting a family of her own would suffice her longing. Scared of birthing a child much like her mother had, the two put off the idea of children while the rising suspicion of the 1970s rolled around. As much as the couple put off the conception of a child, the fate was ill, and during the 80s, Aubree Ann Sinclair was conceived.
Age;; Infancy through teen
There’s always a twist… to any fairytale, even the infamous Cinderella, but of course, this is no Cinderella story. The child was deemed ‘unique’ from the start simply because she bore the last name Sinclair, not because of malfunction within her gene pool. She was pampered and treated with the utmost of anything; however, the values instilled in the child were heart wrenching. She was taught to appreciate every thing she possessed entailing she’d be grateful for whatever was to come her way.
One sunny day… however cold it was for her parents, Aubree Sinclair began to experience extremely harsh symptoms of empathy. Her mother, feeling lonely and depressed, poured her love over the small child and in doing so entailed her emotions upon the child until the child began to break down and cry. The mother had no idea what was wrong and upon asking the child, she quickly answered, “You have so much pain.” And that was all. Her mother instantly took this notice to the father who searched and found ‘Empathy’ as a mutation, and the family was suddenly turned upside down in two ways: the rising mutation dilemma in the world and Elise with child.
Let’s welcome to the world… Andrew Sinclair. Fearing the child would be exactly like Aubree, they decided to have him ‘aborted’; however, Elise couldn’t bear to abort one of her children and carried the pain with her until the very day. Aubree, who felt everything, couldn’t bear the pain of her mother and father and suffered an anxiety attack, deterring the abortion process and allowed the child life. During the nine month carrying process, Aubree began to experience minor powers such as being able to move swiftly and faster throughout the house. She also began teleporting in small proportions in the home. Upon the birth of Andrew Sinclair, Aubree experienced pure joy in her home and during his life spent with Aubree, it was dually noted that Andrew contained no unhumanly powers.
Let’s welcome another baby into the world… By the time Aubree was 9, her powers weren’t in full swing; however, the family was expecting yet another child, and this time, it was a baby girl. Her name was Ashley Sinclair. The initiation of a brand new child did wonders on Aubree’s emotions and soon it was apparent the child could not control her so-called ‘powers’. They began to take their toll on Aubree, and the family soon agreed they would be moving to Blackbriar, Alaska where they sent all the other mutants. Devastated at this conclusion, Elise fell into a deep depression causing Aubree to feel such great pain she had to be hospitalized from shock. After she quickly recovered, the family packed up and jetted toward their destination believing and hoping their new home would help Aubree better cope.
I’m such a terrible teen… Her teen years were no different from her child years; however, she began experiencing rebellious acts as she went to school to learn to control her powers. She felt as if she belonged here, but the depression that encased her family did wonders on her life. The family wasn’t happy in this place for ‘mutants’. There seemed to be no place for ‘normal’ humans at all. The emotions her family felt took a disastrous toll on Aubree until yet again, she had to be hospitalized; however, upon turning 18, she decided for her family that they move back to the states without her and leave her within the walls of Blackbriar. She assured them she’d be okay for this is where she belonged, and they didn’t.
And so… the twenty-two year-old mutant stayed in a small home in Blackbriar to fend for herself and learn to control the power that seemed to consume every portion of her body.
Personality:
Aubree, at a very young age, was instilled with morals that throughout have stuck within her mind creating the personality she obtains today. Not to mention the extreme empathy she possesses has a factor in the way her personality resounds. The girl is rather outgoing, not once ever overlooking an adventure that could possibly cause danger to her or others. The exhilaration of the unknown or what is to come from the simple quest is what drives Aubree to her dangerous tirades. She, indeed, is always up for anything at any time of the night; however, in her younger years the ‘outgoing’ stage would have been better accounted for as ‘rebellious’.
Upon such an attitude, Aubree is a loud character. Place in her a room full of people, and she’ll exceed the limitation of the ‘quiet’ voice or indoor voice – whichever one prefers. She refuses to be shy and will most likely leave as an annoyance to all or a friend to all; it’s just how she appears to be. Her aura is one of carefree and carelessness; a trait that is a force to be reckoned with. Even though Aubree realizes the affect having such a resounding voice has on peoples’ attitudes towards her, she also knows her limits, but lives without reserves. She believes she was given this life for a purposes and maintains it as if she knows of the purpose she was given.
However, to her loud personality is the lying ‘shyness’ factor that lies beneath her overly forceful ‘tude. Even though she refuses to be shy meeting new people is one of those things that cause the shyness to reveal it’s monstrous self. It could be because of her empathy that she shies away from the person in meeting. It may be because she’s examining the depth of their soul and feeling the emotions they’re feeling at that precise moment, but whatever the case, the girl appears shy at first.
To every good thing, there is always a bad. Isn’t the saying to every action there is an equal and opposite reaction? Of course, personality-wise there is no action and reaction, but I’m sure you get the drift. The girl is known for her gorgeous smile and entreating eyes that always seem to be shining and causing people to brighten; however, once you get to the core of Aubree Sinclair, you’ll find resentment among many other things such as guilt, anger, etc… Part of her resentment is towards her family and although she knows it truly isn’t their fault for the way she came out to be, she still feels anger and resentment towards them. Even if she doesn’t show it, Aubree hates her genetic traits and the fact that she must live away from her family. In conversation, Aubree will shy away from the subject of her family and snap quite angrily at the conversation.
Instilled in Aubree are many morals; however, that doesn’t keep the girl from being a sarcastic piece of shit. If she feels one isn’t worth her time, her tongue will be laced with malice for that person. She might not mean it, but she won’t let on that she does. Aubree is mostly angry at the world for deeming her so; therefore, she takes it out on those she doesn’t know or feels are worthy of such treatment. How she makes such assumptions is beyond her imagination, yet she figures the person will get over it.
Fears:
Strengths:
Ah, Aubree’s strengths and weaknesses are a force to be reckoned with much like her personality is. Empathy is her main strength giving her the boost in a person’s life. Most people strive for the comfort of others and only want one to understand the emotion and pain they feel throughout their life. Aubree has been dealt this card, and it allows for easy access when making friends. Feeling another’s pain or emotion – whatever the case may be – is what people look for in a friend and this gives her the upper hand in relationships. Also another strength of Aubree’s is her unrelenting personality that strives to be known/seen in any instance in her life. Her over-the-top personality is what sets her apart from others and gives her the confidence boost to assist others and be the friend one needs.
Weaknesses:
It might be a contradiction to say, but ones strength could also be their fault, and in Aubree’s case, empathy just so happens to be both. Even though it has its good quality, when she was younger the power was nothing more than a burden on our fair maiden. It might give her the upper hand on her relationships, it is also a downfall. It causes her to feel emotions she’d rather never feel in her life and at some points is so detectable it causes her to go into shock; however, this hasn’t happened since her younger years seeing as she has learned to control the very thing that brings her joy. Another weakness is chocolate. Oh, yes, offer a piece of chocolatey goodness to dear Aubree, and one could be having a slave at their hands.
You.
Alias: cait sith, yo!
Experience: 6+ years.
How’d you hear about us? Tera, duh! ;]
Other: None that I can think of except please be patient with me! I’ve never done this before, and it’s taking every fiber in my being to get this to perfection. Haha.
Role playing Sample
There was only one reason that London Van Wyck would be strolling around the shopping center once again; yesterday she had gone shopping with a friend who had flown in from – big surprise - London. The clique of two had scoured the gigantic mall in search of the latest in fashion and left with at least two or more shopping bags full. So, one would wonder what that one imperative reason was and the answer happened to be quite simple: Rychel wanted to hang.
London’s long stride had led her into the food center only to notice that her stomach rumbled from hunger. Good job legs, she thought as she silently eulogized them for taking her to such place. Now, all she had to do was to choose a place to eat, and this proved to be a difficult task. With a glance around, her brown eyes narrowed, and she wrinkled her nose in disdain. Apparently, the places that withheld such 'gourmet' feasts weren't a sufficient meal for London; however, she’d make do.
Rather than stroll, London skipped to a nearby restaurant, not glancing up to look at the name for fear her mind would get the better of her. So, she ordered an ex-large drink and nothing more. Okay, so the hunger would have to wait until she got home, but this didn’t bother her.
Accepting the drink and paying the kind cashier, she moseyed from the center out into the world of the bustling shopping center. Kids and teenagers alike skittered throughout the giant shopping center, pushing past London and running to the store of their preference; however, today London had only one preference as aforementioned. In having such a preference, London decided merely to just waltz around in search of the gang that had to be ambling around somewhere.
That’s when she heard the clear ‘ding’ notification that she had received a text message. Nonchalantly and with her free hand, dug within the contents of her purse and pulled the side kick from its murky and damp prison. London flipped over the cover rather rapidly and let her brown eyes skim the text for easy briefing. It was from Rychel and apparently she was leaving soon, but alas, London had already beaten her. Letting a smile form on her pink lips in sheer accomplishment, she closed the sidekick and placed it firmly back into her purse.
Upon being lost in her exploration for the girls, she gingerly placed the straw adored in her extra-large drink to her mouth and took a satisfying sip of her Diet Coke, and then felt her shoulder thrust forward as some male oblivious to the blazon pink hair in his way ran smack dab into the teenage girl. London's dangerous gaze met his and parted lips spoke words of malice. "Excuse me would have been nice." The guttural grow that emitted from her throat was given as a warning blow to the young man as she watched him glance at her with apologetic eyes, and then scurry off in fear.
She gazed around once more trying to spot the dynamic trio, but to no avail; however, no worries. She was pretty sure they’d spot her from anywhere, and how could they not with the displayed pink mess atop her head?
