The girl sat at one of the glorious long oak tables positioned specifically for study in the library with three books scattered in various places in front of her for easy access. With her head tilted, her long brown tresses hung dangerously over her shoulder and grazed the oak softly as a petite hand reached out and rapidly flipped a page in one of the three books. The pencil held firmly in the other hand moved back in forth and the hand not occupied with pencil pressed gingerly into the forehead of the attention-focused girl. She had been in this library for over three hours, and it seemed as if she had gotten nothing done. This wasn’t satisfactory in her eyes at all and thoroughly peeved Aubree to the point where she gripped intently on the edges of the desk and gritted her teeth.
The more she buried herself in her studies, the more she found she wasn’t getting a damn thing done. She requested three of the best books the teacher recommended; however, nothing strikingly perfect permeated her mind. Indeed, Aubree was a perfectionist and every single word that formed on her lips – or paper rather – were less than perfect, and she just couldn’t have that.
The pencil moved rather suddenly to the paper, and Aubree began to scribble her thoughts down on the paper placed conveniently in front of her, and then as blue hues scanned the writing her hand once again reached forward and crumpled the less than adequate paper and chunked it across the room. “No,” she breathed as she laid her head on the desk in defeat. Of course, after a moment of regrouping, Aubree would be burying herself once more in her studies, but for now, she needed the quiet. She closed her eyes and began breathing at a steady pace. With a heavy sigh, she lifted her head and let her eyes scan the books for anything that would give her inspiration.

A dull ‘omph’ escaped the nearly grown man’s lips as soon as he parted with the entrance. He stared blankly into space for a moment as the sound of someone crashing wafted up into his ears. It took him a moment, but eventually the figure began to get a grasp on what was going on. A smirk adorned his features as he slipped a hand out into the air before him, and felt a slender palm slide into it. It took little effort to help the invisible being off of the floor, but did take him quite a while to regain his composure. Instead of exchanging insolent remarks with each other, JC and the invisible female continued along their paths, hers out of the door and his onto the history aisle.
The male shut his eyes and placed a hand to his temple in a futile attempt at remembering that title of the book that he'd been sent to retrieve. He was sure that if he saw it, he'd know it. Still, it was good to know exactly what one was looking for. After a moment of silence, Jacolby's eyelids fluttered upon and his gaze returned to the shelves at bay, though his mind was no longer entirely on his mission. What was going on with his memory lately? Why did he feel as though people were playing games with his mind? Oh well, that one was simple; because they were. He shook off a wave of ice content toward those mind-readers. Each and everyone of them were completely worthless unless they had some sort of active power. Big whoop, you could read someone else's mind, and know about what they were planning...but could you stop them? JC chuckled at the thought before emitted a short sigh. Okay, now to get the job done.
He scrutinized the titles before hand once more, hoping that the book would just...pop out of him. And in all reality this was very likely, all things considering. Though this was no Hogwarts, it definitely beat out normal schooling, and the male was happy about that much. Heh, as long as he wouldn't be forced to sit in a plain classroom pretending that everything was alright with the world, he'd remain content with his studies.
After a moment, JC rounded the bookcase, hands in pockets. "Damn it all to hell," notably irritated, his words escaped in a rather low, gruff tone as he pulled his right hand from his pocket and began at messaging his temples with cool fingertips.

She wondered without much success as to why this certain topic was important in her life. The History of… She glanced down quickly and flipped the book over to catch a glance at the title before she wrinkled her nose in disdain. She couldn’t even pronounce the name. Even angrier than before, she threw the book down and shook her head leisurely. Why, oh, why did the teachers here feel the need to torture her with pointless assignments that would only result in the demise of paper products?
Deciding that her interest could no longer be entertained by this assignment, she closed each book with a loud ‘thump’ to instigate her annoyance with the three and left them cover side up. Her blue hues danced dangerously around the area of the library in search of a more worthy cause than to die from lack of assignment. Once the area had been given a once over, Aubree threw her hands up in defeat and leaned back as far as she could in her chair. Her digits roamed the upper portion of her thighs, and her gaze fell back on her work. She contemplated on just starting up again, but this time she’d allow her full attention to be focused on this project. It seemed that perhaps her mind was in no mood for such futile games that the books indeed loved to play.
She decided against it, however, when JC’s voice wafted into her already perturbed mind and blue hues immediately fell on his figure. A small smile of amusement played perilously at the corners of her mouth as she raised an eyebrow. This boy was hot – in all honesty, of course. She calculated that nothing on his body wasn’t hot and let her mind wander into risky waters. Perhaps she shouldn’t be fantasizing such x-rated thoughts in the library and leave them to her alone time, but the boy was gorgeous in every sense of the word and for Aubree to stop her mind from such thoughts would be to malnourish it.
She considered asking the boy if he needed assistance with anything, but remembered almost as suddenly as she considered the thought that she wasn’t the librarian and in the worst case scenario wouldn’t be any assistance to him at all, so she surrendered to just staring at him.

ooc;; eh. second bad post of the day. i think it's the...weather? xD
"You do understand that this is a library, right?" the male didn't angle his head in order to catch a glimpse of the one that he was speaking to. It had to be pretty obvious, considering the fact that there were only two people within the over size buildings, save for the librarian was currently working quietly at her desk. And for the record, he wasn't speaking to the librarian, for he was pretty damned sure that the woman knew the name of her workplace. This other female? Well, he wasn't quite so sure about her.
He decided against whipping around and darting toward the stranger's table with every passing moment as she slammed closed every single one of her books. Was it really necessary for her to create such a racket? Oh wow, he was seriously beginning to think like an old man now...racket? Damn. It was definitely time for him to loosen up, though a way of doing so was completely unknown.
Jacolby decided to continue on with his futile search for a book of whose title he couldn't quite remember, and as silly as it sounded, the male did believe that he'd eventually find it. Actually, at the thought a light chuckle escaped from his lips and he stepped back in order to survey the shelves that were placed higher up, outside the reach of most. After a moment, JC extended an arm, gripping a hardback off of the tallest shelf. Bringing it back down, he studied the cover for a moment, before emitting a short sigh and replacing it. "This is useless."

You do understand that this is a library, right? No, really? Aubree pondered the idea silently with much amusement before she leisurely picked up a book and slammed it on the oak to either annoy the boy or just for fun. She watched him closely for a movement once her smart-ass reply had been made. Eye candy; that’s all he was to her. She contemplated on just raping him here to get over the feeling of wanting – no needing – to. Her muscles twitched beneath her ivory skin, and she let her lips turn into a full grin.
She stood up gracefully from her position at the table and gathered the three books in her arms. Casually, she strolled next to JC and reached over him only to replace the book she had stolen from the shelf. She gave him a quick glance that was met with a wink before ambling on toward another shelf to replace a book. She added a seductive swing to her movements and bent over with her butt in the air to replace yet another book. Her blue eyes gazed at the cover of the third, and she clucked her tongue in disapproval. Of what she had no idea.
She traced the title of it with her fingers before moving her body in every direction to see the sign of the aisles to find out where the book’s home happened to be. With no luck, she sighed deeply and returned to her desk. She flipped the book open in one more fruitless attempt at finishing her paper.

As he caught her scent with the air, a light smirk began to make it's self comfortable upon JC's features. Evidently she wasn't pent up on just annoying him. Oh no, there were hidden motives that were finally beginning to make themselves present. Besides, if irritating him was her only purpose, there would have been no reason for to get... up close. If aggravating him was her only intention, she would have most likely just watched from afar, expecting for him to turn around and yell, or glare or whatever it was that people did to release pent up frustrations now-a-days.
Jacolby managed a breath as he continued to surveying the shelves with his eyes, as if her reaching over hadn't effected him in any way what so ever. After a moment, he finally turned on his heel, catching a glimpse of the female as she swished back onto the desk that had originally been declared hers. "Well..." Colby's face gave away an expression of impression as he allowed for his gaze to linger here and there. Hands in his pockets, he turned his sapphire's back onto the bookcases as he meandered over in what he hoped wasn't an inconspicuous manner. The male wanted her to know that getting nearer to her was his aim.
"So tell me, do you bore holes into the into the back every guy that passes you, or just the 'special' ones?" Still smirking, he made sure to keep his gaze away from her at all times as he continued to scrutinize the shelves, completely forgetting what the original point of it all had been. No matter, whatever it was could wait. He was bored, and in need of entertainment. This female would definitely have to do. And she wasn't too hard on the eyes either.

The emotional air – if you please – changed swiftly causing Aubree’s blue hues to change their direction from the paper to the male. The desire for something more wafted from his persona as if it was a mere scent and in reply to such feeling, Aubree grinned madly as she returned her gaze onto the paper. Perhaps the desire wasn’t meant for her, but it was indeed strong, and out of all the feel-good emotions desire just so happened to be Aubree’s favorite. It was possibly the most dangerous of all feelings; perhaps instead of lust, desire should be one of the seven deadly sins; however, weren’t they all the same?
The paper could only hold her attention for so long before the male’s voice would force her to answer him. Mmm, did he have to be so deliciously yummy? Well, she knew it wasn’t his fault, but he was left with the consequences of obtaining such pretty and awkward handsomeness. She arched a thin eyebrow in amusement while she mulled over a droll way to answer him. She leaned back slowly in her chair as she continued to bore her eyes into his back and slightly parted her lips as if to speak; however, no words escaped the parted lips. She crossed her lithe arms over her robust chest and said, “I see no hole. I must not be staring hard enough.”
She stood once again; however – this time – she turned her back to his, pressed her palms against the edge of the desk and in an almost unrecognizable movement or as if she hadn’t moved at all, lifted her tiny frame onto the oak surface. She swung her legs around and scooted to the edge of the desk with her palms still pressed in the wooden surface. She didn’t expect the male to turn around for she assumed he was either playing it ‘cool’ or found her unattractive. No matter, she thought, I can still rape him.

He finally ceased majority of his movements as she began in a response. Funny, for a moment he'd taken the liberty to assume that she was a mute. After all, the female had yet to emit a sound, save for slamming her books, until this point. Jacolby released a breezy chuckle as he gazed over his shoulder, first at the woman and then down as if he was inspecting his backside. "Are you sure about that?" After a short moment, he angled his body as to face her, but kept a subtle distance in order to keep himself from being physical assaulted.
The intentions within her eye were clear and he'd come to the conclusion that she was capable of as much. Though whether or not it'd be a good or bad thing was still undecided within his mind. He proceeded to place his back gently against the nearest case as kept his gaze focused upon this lustrous female. For some reason she shined in his eye, but he knew for a fact this wasn't the feeling love at first sight. Oh no, this definitely wasn't the case. However, he could see himself getting to know her, uhm... better in the near future.
Jacolby allowed for a sheer silence to cloak them before deciding to say something more. However, his mind was currently lacking in the area of appropriate feedback and/or ridicule. It seemed as though he'd just have to go along with the first words that parted his lips, and they just happened to be, "There's a possibility that if you took your eyes off of me and laid them onto your paper, that you'd get more work done." At that instant he averted his eyes onto the floor, finally taking note to the paper balls that lay on the floor.

She caught his deliberate examination of his backside and smirked madly. Are you sure about? She shook her head in a defiant ‘no’ and pushed off the desk only to land gracefully on her feet. In a swift movement, she appeared before the male, and her hand was placed directly on his chest. Her fingers toyed dangerous around the area before she finally let her hands fall away. She gazed intently into his dangerous eyes then smiled sweetly up at him. “I’m sure. I felt no holes,” she said before she turned on one heel and appeared once again on the desk.
The fact that she had held herself so politely around him whilst touching him dumbfounded her even though one might say touching another’s chest wasn’t as ‘polite’ as it could have been. However, for Aubree, it was polite. She let her legs dangle from the desk and swung them back and forth as she kept her eyes on this alluring male figure. She wondered if he knew the dangerous waters he was swimming in that were infested with treacherous fish; however, she silently mused that he probably got this reaction from every girl, but perhaps not as strong as Aubree was giving in. Hell, it was about time she got laid even if it was with someone from Blackbriar.
She too glanced at the seemingly mountain that had formed from the paper balls and shrugged her lithe shoulders. “My concentration was lost way before you entered the library, love, but you might have been the icing on the cake,” she replied nonchalantly. Oh, he was definitely the icing on the cake, all right.
