The character.
Name Geoffrey Mitch Arrington. Nickname(s): Blue; Geoff. Age: 26 Mutations/Abilities:
MAJOR: Combat Skill ;; The ability to quickly learn fighting skills without any hesitation. Can be learned by reading about it or watching someone else do it.
MINOR: Memory Manipulation ;; The ability to erase one's memory along with being able to bring back memories that have been lost within one's mind. This also gives one the ability to create memories that never existed.
MINOR: Mind Reading ;; The ability to read ones thoughts and at times their feelings or moods. Face Claim: Vincent Lacrocq Appearance: Blue is a long, lanky fellow, around 6', with light, sinewy muscles. He's very gaunt, but not near emaciated. He's the slender type, but hardly delicate. His legs take up most of his frame, with short hips and a well-sprung rib cage. He has a nice clavicle, but short shoulders and a long neck. His skin is a ruddy fair color with a yellowish undertone.
His face is square and fairly small, but chisled. He has rather high cheekbones that fall into a square chin. He has an expressive brow with low, impending eyebrows. His eyes are a solemn, flat sapphire blue color, hense his nickname. Blue has dirty blonde hair that goes positively everywhere in its messy style.
Finally, Blue only wears three colors - black, blue, and green. He enjoys heavier fabrics, like leather, and also metal studs and accessories. He does wear quite a bit of eye make-up; just mostly smudged black eye shadow on the top lid that makes his blue eyes stand out more. His smokey appearance gives off the vibe of someone you really don't want to get in the way of.
Family: Dad; Mitch ;; Mother; Ariel Personal History: Geoffrey Arrington was born as any other kid in New York, New York. He was the only child of Mitch and Ariel, who lived in a small house in a slightly questionable neighborhood on the edge of the city. Mitch himself was a mutant with many psychic abilities and helped Geoff to hone his as early as possible. The two shared a strong bond, Ariel included.
Geoff lived fairly normal life in New York - just the usual hardships of living in a big town with lots of crime. Geoff was very street savy after little time at all; but found himself all too good at fighting off assailants. It took him a long time to find the connection between his fighting abilities and the action movies he watched; but after studying himself quite closely, he found the similarities. After that he became obsessive with watching movies and reading books. Why not live up to his full potential? Practically anything he saw his brain could make his body do. It was amazing - and no one dared to mess with him at school.
When he was 18 word had gotten around the underground, and Geoff met a man named John Smith. Instantly Geoff got the impression that this wasn't a good thing; but he didn't trust himself (or his newly developing power). The man made him an offer: a very, very comfortable live for his parents and himself in exchange for using his talents in the CIA. Of course, being young and foolish, Geoff dove right in - dove right in to a shallow pool, as it were.
Operation "Matchbox" was one of the first ever mutant teams working under the CIA for intelligence matters. They had all sorts - technical, physical, psychologicals - totaled to about seven men and women. Although, nobody knew what they were getting into. The training was extensive and hard work. The team lived together, not allowed to go out or to visit friends and family. They were put under all sorts of tests and stress, so by the end of the training program, only four were left standing. One of those just so happened to be the willfull Geoffrey.
The four did a multitude of overseas operations - mostly assassinations and counter-intelligence. That sort of thing does something to a person; and Geoffrey was a totally different person than the one who came into the program. The worst came about most recently, when he was working as a double agent in Russia. He was exposed and hunted after ruthlessly. Unable to use his passports, Geoff had to try to escape the country by stealing cars, train hopping, and his own two feet. The constant paranoia warped his mind into one big mess of mistrust and suspicion.
Eventually Geoff returned to the United States, but was discharged from the program quite unexpectedly. With no closure, and no psychological care, Geoff had to try to map out a new life in the big world, but it was unbearably difficult. He found himself automatically throwing people over his shoulder whenever they even tapped him for directions. He was a mess - alcholic, and even an agoraphobic. Eventually his psychological meltdown opened up one of his latent powers - consuming all of his memories into a vacuum and throwing them away.
But now he had to start over. The nickname "Blue" came from the passerby who found him passed out in the street and had drug him to her home for help. She was just one of those random people that really help in a time of crisis. As a power-sensing mutant, she suggested that he go to an Alaskan city called "Blackbriar" to help find where he belonged - or at least be safe in the meantime. And so Geoff, now dubbed "Blue", went, to find whatever he could.
He went to the University and learned some things about his powers. Now he makes most of his income as a bounty hunter. XD
Personality: Blue is a little sketchy. He's very untrusting and very cautious about things. However, he is sweet - in an odd sort of way; a very unconventionable type of person. He says the things that people rarely hear, but shuts up before he says anything stupid.
He's a quick little buggah; that's for sure. Blue's blatant honesty gets him into trouble, but its his action-hero movements that get him out of it. He doesn't ever seem to get really angry. Irritated, yes, but he never takes out more than a person deserves. He's all into justice like that.
All in all, Blue is a pretty good guy. He doesn't use his powers to exploit people, or for any malicious intent. He just kind of wants to get by with himself and doesn't need any more enemies on his heels. All in all, as much as he avoids social contact, he really enjoys talking to people and is quite lonely.
Fears: Getting killed; his past; his memories; women with mustaches. Strengths/ His fighting skills are, of course, his biggest asset. Blue just has to watch anything and know how to pull it off. This comes in handy when defending himself against attackers, along with his slight ability to read minds - this allows him to have a better guess at what move his opponent will make. Weaknesses: Well, anything that isn't hand-to-hand combat. Blue is no match against elemental types, unless he tries to play mind games.
You.
